After school, its supposed to be really hard to make friends!!!
But in Dubai, you have TFL (Rantings of a Paki chick), meow (evilaches)… say hello to them!
Sometimes when they dont work out, just remember, you probably werent compatible with a certain group of friends for a reason.. in which case, do not fret! Youve dodged bullets! Sometimes you just gotta open your heart.. and thats when you attract people that are similar to you!

What? You cant find friends. Yeah, Dubai sucks when it comes to non-stuck up people or prople who generally are willing to be cool about others being who they are, or maybe it is just a human thing. Keep your mind open to all kinds of people. There are a lot of good people out there who need friends too. Maybe becoming a friend would be a better start? Nahin? Call a hotline number, if they have any in dxb.

That’s depressing… I hope it gets better Inshalah. I met some really nice Emirati girls but I’m not sure how to conduct myself with guys… if I’m too friendly, they’ll think I’m “fast” :P specially since I don’t wear the abaya or hijab… and I’m not sure if it’s ok for women to say hello first…
No its not THAT bad – I just wish I had more friends:)
And yeah I don’t think its a good idea to start the conv with the guys; give it some time they’ll definitely say hi to you.
And of course if you’re ever passing by dubai, there’s me :)

becoming a friend? You mean become a nicer person? Or just try harder?
And I don’t think they have those hotlines in Dubai :) actually even if they did, I’m not looking for those kind of “friends” :)
Try both – if one does not work the other would. Yeah hotlines are not really the way to go.

We’re special kind of friends yawar. Our fraandship is not bound by norms like having to keep in touch and the like :)
